Very Interesting news about Palm Beach County’s tax base:
Palm Beach County’s tax base grew by about 6.8 percent in 2013, more than a full percentage point higher than Property Appraiser Gary Nikolits projected a month ago, according to new estimates released Wednesday.
The numbers show a year-over-year increase in the taxable value of all of the county’s 38 cities and towns, as well as the unincorporated county. That marks the first countywide increase since the start of the great recession.
